‘MARKET by kleine fabriek’ opens the season on 8 & 9 January 2017
Amsterdam 2 November 2016 - The new concept ‘MARKET by kleine fabriek’ has proven to be a resounding success, which is why it is being organised again this winter; bigger, stronger and at the forefront of the European children’s fashion calendar. The newest collections and debuting labels can be first seen in Amsterdam! MARKET by kleine fabriek will take place this winter on Sunday 8 January and Monday 9 January in the wonderfully spacious Parkhal (Hall 8) at the Amsterdam RAI. The new circular layout - giving visitors a clear overview of the collections and drawing more attention to the product - will have plenty of room to spread its wings. And that extra space will not go to waste since the winter edition is quite a bit larger.
Now that MARKET is the first event on the children’s fashion calendar, the launches of new brands, collections, collabs and products have become international news. Margherita Kids, for instance, the label of Margherita Missoni, will be making its debut this winter at tradeshows, starting with MARKET by kleine fabriek. As the successor and muse of the famous Italian fashion family, Margherita can now apply all of her knowledge, experience and inspiration to her own colourful kids label with unlimited mixing and matching of luxe-hippie clothing perfect for both playtime and fancier occasions.
Margherita Missoni is not the only newcomer to be found at this edition of MARKET by kleine fabriek. In January, for example, the world can get acquainted the Dutch fashion and jewelry label By-Bar from Barbara Brenninkmeijer. The By-Bar Girls line was created in summer 2015 and will be showcasing its collection for the first time at MARKET. (By-Bar Women can also be seen at Modefabriek two weeks later.)
Other must-see debutants at this edition of MARKET by kleine fabriek: Snurk bedding - world-famous thanks to the cardboard box duvet cover created by designer Peggy van Neer to support the Stichting Zwerfjongeren Nederland (Homeless Kids Foundation) -, sneaker brand Veja, the new no-nonsense collection from Nixnut, the lovely print-based label Trixie baby and bedding and nursery label Les Rêves d'Anaïs from Belgium.
The flexible and easily accessible formula of MARKET by kleine fabriek makes it possible for brands - both big and small - to present their offerings in a professional manner, so keep a close eye on the www.MARKETbykleinefabriek.nl for even more names and the latest news on our loyal participants!
