As director of CBSI Netherlands, I participate in a platform for spiritual equipping of believers. Many different organizations are also involved like for instance Bouwstenen Bibleschool, Artios Bibleschool, Christian College Ede, the Wittenberg, Tyndale Seminary. On november 16, we concluded that there is much biblical illiteracy in the Netherlands and then especially among the young people. As parachurch organisations we want to help the churches in our country to equip its people to be spiritually strong in today’s world. From the very beginning CBSI has been helping church leaders to discover what the bible says and also to apply that in their personal lives.
We also see that the churches in the Netherlands become more and more aware of the need to be missional.
CBSI equips her leaders to put on the armor of God to be able to take their stand against the attacks of the invisible enemy who enters our lives without asking and secretly and who keeps us from getting to know God and His Word. This picture shows the female leaders that were present at a CBSI retreat in October, 2011 in order to be better equipped for CBSI ministry. We discussed the “armor of God” in all its detail. See also the attached invitation to our National CBSI day for all our CBSI leaders and participants in 2012.
“Twitters” of CBSI groups:
“I wish I had had this study about Gods Amazing Book 10 years ago!”
“The biggest challenge for the church of 2011 is sexuality and with that I don’t mean only homosexuality.”
